On Tuesday, September 19th, there was a fight in the hallway with the circle:
The fight occurred when the 6th graders were going back to their classes after 6th grade lunch (in between 6th period). We have a testimonial from an eye witness, and here's how they say it went:
"At around 12:30 PM, when people were going back to their classes, a black gangsta suddenly tackled another black gangsta to the ground in the band/orchestra hallway. As people circled around chanting "Fight!", the one who tackled the other black guy threw the tackled gangsta's Chromebook onto the ground. They began punching each other for around 30 seconds until the staff members got to the fight scene and those who watched the fight, around 30-40 people, fled to their 6th period classrooms, running down the hall and screaming and yelling. Fortunately, most made it to their classrooms on time."
It's funny to note that this took place outside the classroom of the drama/theater teacher, Lydia-Rae Wehnmeyer, when it was her birthday.
